Electrical Engineer
NieuweWeme is seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing, and improving electrical systems and installations. In the first year, you’ll lead the development of a new rectifier system for hydrogen production.

About us
Your responisbilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and schematics that meet all relevant technical and safety standards.
- Work with tools like EPLAN to create and manage detailed electrical documentation.
- Specify components and installations based on customer and project needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in both design and execution phases.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.
- Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Contribute to innovation and improvement initiatives within the company.

/ Technical expertise
You have experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics and work with precision according to standards like NEN1010 and NEN3140. Proficiency in EPLAN is essential; experience with AutoCAD and ProPanel is a plus.
/ Education & certification
You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Certifications like VCA VOL and knowledge of safety regulations give you an edge.

You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You’re solution-oriented, hands-on, and stay calm under pressure.
